The third design in the 'Blomma Quilt Collection', Christmas Blomma takes inspiration from traditional Scandinavian folk art and the much-loved 12 Days of Christmas song. Each of the 12 unique appliqué block designs represents a line from the song, reimagined with beautiful floral and foliage motifs for a fresh, contemporary take on a traditional Christmas quilt.
Originally designed as a 12-month Block of the Month (BOM) quilt, the pattern features 12 individual block designs, repeated in varying colourways to create a total of 30 blocks. Enjoy experimenting with different fabric combinations whilst practising and building confidence in the needle turn appliqué technique.
With two quilt layout options to choose from, you can create the full Christmas Blomma quilt or a smaller, fat quarter-friendly version featuring just the 12 individual blocks. Perfect as a festive wall hanging or a cosy little lap quilt.
