'Storyland of the Stars' Quilt

‘Storyland of the Stars’ is a quilt pattern to create that will represent your own personal story. This pattern contains instructions to make 9 individual block designs, each measuring 12 x 12 inches finished. The full quilt will be the perfect lap sized quilt or wall hanging at 36 x 36 inches. It might look like it is constructed with traditional pieced method, but all the shapes are hand appliquéd. It will give the final quilt a completely different look and stunning handmade quality. It will also provide you the opportunity to practise your needle turn hand appliqué skills, helping you build your confidence. 

As you create each star inspired block it will become a representation of something that is meaningful to you, either capturing a memory, a specific moment in time or representing someone special to you. We very often sew our memories into a quilt, sometimes without even realising it, so this quilt can become a more intentional and meaningful journey to create your own memorable quilt to cherish for years to come.

This design uses 3 main colours for the hand appliqué shapes and a complimentary background colour. This pattern will also work very well with fat quarters, so perfect if you’re looking to use up some of your stash!
