The ‘Blomma II’ hand applique quilt is a companion pattern to the first ‘Blomma’ hand applique quilt and is inspired by modern Scandi design and folk art. The word ‘Blomma’ means flower in Swedish, so this quilt pattern is perfect to bring in some colourful, floral beauty to your home.
The pattern comprises of 12 unique applique blocks, each with different colour ways. You can work on one block each month,or mix it up and work in any way you enjoy the most. There is also a second quilt pattern to create a smaller quilt just using the 12 aplique block designs with an English paper pieced (EPP) border.
This is the perfect project that will give you the opportunity to practise and finding more confidence in your hand appliqué skills.
